Small Scrapbook
You will need:
Step One
Glue and cover the front and back boards with your chosen decorative paper. Before covering the front board, score the binding (left-hand) side lightly 2 cms from the edge. The amount of scoring with depend on the thickness of the board – don't overdo it or you will cut it off!
Cut a rectangle out of the front cover with a scalpel and straight edge (or experiment with other shapes) and fold the cover paper inside. Stick each corner down with a Sticki Dot. That leaves you with the front and back covers.
Step Two
Now cut two pieces of acetate, slightly larger than the window in the front cover.
Arrange and sandwich the petals between the acetate sheets. Secure each corner of the sheets together with a Sticki Dot, then and attach the sandwich to the inside of the front cover with glue stick and Sticki Dots at each corner to hold the sandwich tightly.
Step Three
Position a strip of ribbon close to the edge of the board and attach with Sticki Dots. Cut a piece ofdecorative cover paper to cover the inside front cover. Apply glue and cover the whole area. Repeat with the back cover.
Step Four
Cut two sheets of tracing paper
Place a sheet of tracing paper on either side of your cartridge paper pages.
Pierce the spine of the book with a strong hole punch.
Insert a post and screw into each hole and tighten with a screwdriver.
Tie the ribbon and trim. And there’s your scrapbook!
