Christmas Baubles

Give your Christmas tree that extra little sparkle this year and make your own decorations with Sticki Dots from Bostik.

To make your decorations, you will need the following:

  • Removable Sticki Dots.
  • Extra strength Sticki Dots
  • White eggs
  • Darning needle or something sharp
  • Cocktail stick
  • Pink and silver glitter
  • Pink organza ribbon

Step by step:

First blow the eggs removing their contents. Do this by piercing a small hole at the top and base of the egg with a needle or the point of a pair of scissors. Push the cocktail stick into one of the holes and mix the contents of the egg and then blow the contents out the through the other hole. Wash the eggs thoroughly to remove any residue and leave to dry

Tear off approximately sixteen Sticki Dots, separating each of the dots along the perforations; peel off the paper backing, press the dots randomly onto the eggs surface and then pull off the clear plastic film

Holding the egg between your thump and index finger shake glitter over each of the dots. Brush and blow off any excess glitter

Repeat the process with another egg and a different coloured glitter or combine two different coloured glitters; carefully shake the glitters over each dot alternating the colours

To complete the decoration of the eggs, cut a short length of organza ribbon stick an extra strength Sticki Dot to one of the ends, take the other end and stick this to the other side of the dot to form a loop. Stick another extra strength Sticki Dot below this join and stick the dot to the top of the egg.

Sticki Dots are also great for craft projects as they are require no cutting and are incredibly easy to use – just peel the backing off the dot and attach – no mess.
