Baby Album

If you’re looking for the perfect gift to make for someone who has just had a baby this is it.

You will need:

  • A box
  • Coloured tissue
  • Eyelets
  • Ribbon
  • Hole punch
  • Board
  • Card
  • Wrapping paper
  • Picture mounts
  • Decorations of your choice
  • Sticki Dots
  • Sticki Pads
  • Scissors
  • ruler

Step One

Cut two squares of board to fit inside your box. These will be your album covers.

Step Two

Cover the boards with wrapping paper, using Sticki Dots in each corner to hold down the paper. Cover the inside with a square of wrapping paper to cover the folds and make the inside cover neat.

Step Three

Using the hole punch make four holes in each board, making sure both boards match up. Add eyelets to make the holes neat and durable.

Step Four

Decorate the front cover. We’ve chosen a pink theme for a baby girl and using Sticki Dots to attach different coloured squares and Sticki Pads, to attach a pram to give it a 3-D effect.

Step Five

Line the box with coloured tissue paper. We’ve used pink, of course.

Your album is now ready for your pages.

Step six

Using the card, decorations and picture mounts you can create your own designs. Here are some pages for inspiration.

Step seven

When you have completed your pages punch holes at the top and bottom matching up to the holes on your covers.

Step eight

Add eyelets to make the holes neat and durable

Step nine

Thread your ribbon through the holes and tie in a bow on the front, as in our picture.
