Autumn Collage

The rust, gold, red and brown colours of autumn can be spectactular. So, why not create a seasonal collage using lots of richly coloured leaves? There are so many different colours and shades and your finished collage will be fantastic.

You'll need:

  • A large piece of paper
  • Pencil and paints
  • Sticki Dots
  • Lots of leaves – not too dry or they will crumble

Collect as many different types and colours of leaves as you can find. Look for different shapes and shades. You can create an abstract design or a woodland scene, using the leaves to give your trees texture. Try making them into a background and put a group or family picture from an autumn walk or event in the foreground: it will be an autumn event with a genuine autumnal backdrop!

Once you’ve chosen your design or drawn your picture, place Sticki Dots where you want to put your leaves. Attach the leaves to create your picture. And remember to put the result under glass in its frame or all those beautiful leaves will dry up and fall – just like the real thing!
